Virgil Peterson was dynamite at Principal Park, blowing away the Omaha Storm Chasers in a shutout victory. The Iowa Cubs starter had everything working as he held the Storm Chasers to 2 hits in the 6-0 win.

"He was pure nasty out there today," said Omaha skipper Rajai Davis. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
