The New Orleans Zephyrs topped the Albuquerque Isotopes, 5-4, at Zephyr Field. New Orleans designated hitter Robinson Flores was a spark plug for the offense. He was 1-2 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Raymond Rodriguez finished the game for New Orleans and earned his 24th save. With the win, New Orleans upped its record to 42-25.

There was more than one reason the Zephyrs beat the Isotopes, but Flores's big at-bat in the bottom of the second was an important factor. He staked his team to a 4-3 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Flores.
