Stephen Gonsalves, who is tied for 4th in the PC in complete games with 2, was locked in. The left-hander led the Reno Aces to a 4-3 win against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox at Aces Ballpark. The winner was Gonsalves. He threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball. The loser was Sancho Ortíz. Don Forrest was called on to finish, recording his 14th save.

The Aces got a big at-bat from left fielder Chris Bailey. For the game, Bailey was 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 18th double of the season gave Reno a 3-2 lead.

"Stephen was dictating to their hitters," said Reno manager Ruben Niebla.
