Chihuahuas Bang Out 7-3 Win Versus Fresno
The 7-3 El Paso win over Fresno was due largely to Alan Parker. The Chihuahuas center fielder went 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs. El Paso reliever Luis Ramírez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Bob Ramsey took the loss. Phil Childress earned save number 14 this season.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Sean Carver? The El Paso third baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Chihuahuas on top, 5-1. For the game, Carver had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We did a lot of things right," said Carver.

El Paso, now 29-39, holds down last place in the Pacific Conference North Division.
