The Reno Aces topped the Salt Lake Bees, 4-2, in Pacific Conference action at Smith's Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Reno pitcher and Greeley, Colorado, native Danny Hatfield. The Aces, at 29-40, sit in last place in the Pacific Conference South Division.

Josh Marshania had a direct impact on the outcome. Marshania contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Reno up, 3-1.

Reno manager J.R. House said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
