In a tight tilt between the Omaha Storm Chasers and the Memphis Redbirds, Luis Severino was the deciding factor. The Omaha right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. The win belonged to Ruber Aquino in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Chad Cooke took the loss for Memphis. The Storm Chasers bumped their record to 35-35 with this latest triumph.

Omaha used a timely hit from 26-year old second baseman Leonel Bejaran to get the win. The second baseman delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Storm Chasers on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was huge.

"Against this team here, fangs out late in the game, it's nice to beat them," said Omaha skipper Rajai Davis.
