El Paso right-hander Ken Fisher pitched his team to victory over the Sacramento River Cats at . The final score was 3-0. El Paso now has a record of 43-27 with the win.
Whit Cameron had a big 2-run home run for the Chihuahuas in the bottom of the second inning. With El Paso leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a curveball from Fernando Perri and swatted a home run to right. It was his 3rd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Chihuahuas ahead, 3-0.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Fisher said after the game.
