The home crowd had a good time watching the Reno Aces and Salt Lake Bees get after it.

The Salt Lake Bees overcame a good performance by Reno left fielder Doug Wilson to knock off Reno, 9-4, at Smith's Ballpark. Wilson belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Bees, at 34-38, inhabit second place in the Pacific Conference North Division.

Making an impact for the home team was Matt Davidson. In the bottom of the third, the 33-year old third baseman had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 3-1, Bees.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Davidson told the Salt Lake Herald.
