Las Vegas second baseman Franchy Cordero had a good game, even if his team did not. The 51s dropped a 7-6 decision to Reno at Aces Ballpark. Julius Winters was the walk-off hero for Reno. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Aces first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"To get where we want to as a team, we all have to do things out of our comfort zone," Winters told the Reno Times.
