The Round Rock Express topped the Omaha Storm Chasers, 2-1, in 12 innings at Dell Diamond. The game was highlighted by the performance of Round Rock pitcher Junior Gonzalez. Round Rock reliever Enyerbeth Lugo picked up the win to move to 3-1. Dave Howard suffered the loss. The loss makes Omaha 36-41.

The Express got a clutch hit from right fielder Joe Sherman. In the bottom of the 12th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Express.

"Our offense was purring," said Round Rock manager Ben Petrick. "Like a well-oiled machine."
