Garcia Pops Two Homers in 15-6 Win for Fresno
The Fresno Grizzlies reigned over the El Paso Chihuahuas in damp conditions.

The Fresno Grizzlies defeated the El Paso Chihuahuas, 15-6. Doing his part was third baseman Dermis Garcia, who went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. The Pacific Conference South Division-leading Grizzlies have a record of 45-32.

With Fresno leading 4-2 in the top of the fourth, Garcia hit a fastball from Joe Lynch for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Grizzlies ahead, 6-2.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Fresno manager Kevin Cash.
