Rainiers Slap 7-3 Loss on Sacramento
|
The losses keep piling up for the Sacramento River Cats.
The Tacoma Rainiers used the hitting of designated hitter Samuel Borel to subdue the Sacramento River Cats, 7-3. For the game, Borel was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Sacramento is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 9 in a row.
Tacoma took a 7-3 lead on Borel's 4th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which he hit off Kevin Clark in the top of the seventh, propelled Tacoma to the win.
"Been a rough stretch for us," said Sacramento manager Carmelo Martinez.
