Aces Get 4-3 Win Versus Las Vegas

Fans watched the Reno Aces and the Las Vegas 51s fight to the finish.
The Las Vegas 51s were defeated, 4-3, by the Reno Aces at Cashman Field, even though Kevin Myers pitched well for Las Vegas. Dave Sanford, 3-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 4 innings.
Reno used a well-timed hit by Greg Bernard to capture the win. The left fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put the Aces ahead, 4-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
Bernard called it "a solid win."
The victory puts Reno at 32-49.
