Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Omaha Storm Chasers and Round Rock Express.

The Omaha Storm Chasers picked up a win at Werner Park, knocking off the Round Rock Express, 7-2. On the mound for Omaha was right-hander Rob Armstrong. He played a key role in the triumph. At 39-44, the Storm Chasers claim second place in the American Conference North Division.

The Express had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Storm Chasers going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 26-year old first baseman Dave Moon came to the plate. Moon hit a grand slam home run on a 0-2 fastball from Round Rock hurler Ken Long. It was Moon's 8th home run of the year.

"We had a good game plan," Armstrong said, "and we were able to execute it."
