Aces Take Home 3-2 Win Over Fresno
Reno and Fresno duked it out and the Aces came out victorious.

The Fresno Grizzlies got a sterling performance from pitcher Juan Bernard, but the Reno Aces still prevailed, 3-2. Bernard came in in relief and pitched to 18 batters. Joe Jackson, the winner, is now 5-5. He struck out 8 and walked 0 over 8 innings, while allowing 2 runs on 9 hits.

It could have been a different outcome for Reno, had it not been for Augusto Aguilar, the 29-year old center fielder . Aguilar contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put Reno up, 3-0.

In postgame remarks, Aguilar applauded his team's "toughness."

With the win, Reno goes to 38-52, while the Grizzlies fall to 52-38.
