Emmanuel Clase was in a mood to talk following the Norfolk Tides contest against the Columbus Clippers, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Clippers, 5-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Clase said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked Columbus on a 1-hitter, allowing 3 walks and racking up 6 strikeouts.
