In a tight contest at Dell Diamond, the Round Rock Express edged the Fresno Grizzlies by the score of 9-8. Round Rock designated hitter António Ríos, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Junior Gonzalez picked up his 6th save of the season. Today's win puts Round Rock at 53-61, while Fresno falls to 64-50.

Round Rock got a big at-bat from Altagracia de Orituco, Venezuela native Miguel Angel Sierra, who in the bottom of the third hit a 2-run double. It was his 19th double of the season and put the Express ahead, 9-0.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Ríos said.
