Tacoma beat Albuquerque in a rain-soaked ballgame.

Good production from center fielder Bobby Howell helped the Tacoma Rainiers topple the Albuquerque Isotopes, 6-4. Howell went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Rainiers. Wes Poe earned his 2nd save, after closing out the game.

Howell contributed in the bottom of the fifth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Tacoma get the win.

"Solid performance from our side," said Rainiers manager Mario Garza.

The win elevated the Rainiers to 60-56.
