Richmond got a terrific game from catcher Wes García. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Reading, 15-5. García was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Baltesar Covilh earned the save for Reading. The win puts Reading at 4-3.

Yairo Munoz chipped in a 3-run home run for Reading in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.

"I still think this team can play even better," Munoz told the Reading Herald.
