Aces Get Clutch Win Versus Colorado Springs
Reno Aces starter Norm Sims was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, 3-2. Reno reliever Toby White snagged the win, upping his record to 2-2. Dan McCurley shouldered the loss. The triumph makes Reno 32-88.

The decisive blow was delivered by Bob Saunders in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run double off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Dan McCurley to win the game for Reno. The home crowd went nuts.

Saunders told a Reno Daily News reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
