The Salt Lake Bees grabbed a win, 8-5, over the Tacoma Rainiers at Cheney Stadium. Salt Lake right fielder Dave Oliver was 1-2 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Salt Lake now sits at 55-69, while Tacoma falls to 58-66.

In the top of the sixth, the Bees grabbed the lead when Oliver hit his 9th home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Doug Bannatyne made it 7-3, Salt Lake.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Oliver.
