The Tacoma Rainiers defeated the Las Vegas 51s, 8-5. Second Baseman Kolten Wong deserved a large share of the credit. Wong went 4-5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs for the Rainiers. Jeremiah MacGregor picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 7-0. Jarrod Wilson suffered the loss. Randy Gordon closed the game out for Tacoma, earning his 2nd save.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Billy Davies? The Tacoma left fielder had a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rainiers on top, 6-5. For the game, Davies had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
