Behind the hitting of Joshua Lopez, the Charlotte Knights stopped the Buffalo Bisons, 11-3. Lopez went 4 for 4 with 4 singles. He scored 3 runs for the Knights. With the win, Charlotte is 8-8.

Charlotte center fielder Rubén Fabián contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a slider to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 10th hit of the season and put the Knights ahead, 3-0.
