The Lehigh Valley IronPigs managed to get by the Durham Bulls, 5-4, at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Lehigh Valley right fielder Reginald Chase set himself apart with his performance. Ron Boyer snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-1 on the season. Mike Dalton suffered the loss. The save went to Miguel Angel Martínez, number 6 for him.

It could have been a different outcome for Lehigh Valley, had it not been for Elio Castillo, the 31-year old third baseman . Castillo contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put Lehigh Valley up, 5-4.

"I was a little disappointed," said Durham manager Ron Anderson. "We could've and should've scored more runs."

Now 12-4, the 2025 IronPigs have been phenomenal so far.
