The Las Vegas 51s picked up a win at Cashman Field, downing the El Paso Chihuahuas, 7-6. On the mound for Las Vegas was left-hander Luis Antonio González, who played a pivotal role in the win. Rudy Alexander earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. His record is now 1-0. Las Vegas is now 69-71, while El Paso is 76-64.

The 51s got a clutch hit from left fielder Matt Railey. In the bottom of the 14th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the 51s.

"We found a way to get it done," Railey said.
