Bisons Rally For Late Win Over RailRiders
Pierce Johnson, who is tied for 9th in the IL in quality starts with 11, imposed his will on the RailRiders from the get-go. Relying mainly on his curveball, the right-hander spearheaded the 4-1 Buffalo triumph. Johnson picked up the win for Buffalo, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 9-5. Picking up the save was Shelby Miller. He's now 11 for 12 in save chances.

Buffalo took a 2-1 lead on Hugo Perales's 3rd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Perales hit in the top of the eighth, left Scranton WB pitcher Addison Reed visibly frustrated.
