Norfolk Charts 5-2 Win Over Scranton WB
The Norfolk Tides faced a tough opponent in Scranton WB pitcher Walt Reilly, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Harbor Park by a final score of 5-2. Reilly went 5.1 innings and allowed no runs. The win belonged to Del Klein in relief. His record improves to 2-0. J.R. Bradley took the loss for Scranton WB. The defeat makes the RailRiders 7-11.

Ron Lilly drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate for Norfolk. The 27-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Dan Snow. It was his 2nd walk of the season.

"We did enough to win," said Lilly.
