The Toledo Mud Hens scored a tight, 2-1 win versus the Charlotte Knights at Fifth Third Field. Toledo pitcher Spike Kimball held his own in the contest. Getting the save was Dylan Nash, his 1st. Charlotte drops to 8-11.

Toledo went in front, 2-1, on Jonathan Jacobson's 2nd triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Jacobson hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Charlotte pitcher Monte Young visibly perturbed.

"At the end of the day, it's about putting up zeros," said Kimball.
