The Syracuse Chiefs pinned a convincing loss on the Charlotte Knights, 10-2, at BB&T Stadium. Erik Watkins was a main factor in the win. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for Syracuse. Norberto Martínez was the winner. He's now 2-1. The loser was 24-year old right-handed pitcher Jim Miller. Syracuse is in 5th place in the North Division with a record of 52-56.
