Clippers Pull Out Late Win, 4-3
The Columbus Clippers did just enough to sneak past the Toledo Mud Hens, 4-3, at Huntington Park. Columbus pitcher Chris Watts, in particular, had a standout performance. Columbus reliever Chad Cochrane picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Sean Bevins was saddled with the loss. The second-place Mud Hens have lost 4 straight games.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Columbus left fielder Hugues Bertolucci, facing Sean Bevins, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Clippers the 4-3 win.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Clippers manager Carlos Garcia.
