The Reading Fightin Phils topped the Bowie Baysox, 5-3, in Eastern League action at Prince George's Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Reading pitcher and Clovis, California, native Josh Davis. Davis yielded 3 runs over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 5, and struck out 5. His record improves to 1-1. Tony Martínez earned the save for Reading, his 4th of the year.
