Altoona got a valiant performance from pitcher Tim Gray, but it wasn't enough to beat the Binghamton Mets. Binghamton won the game, 4-3. Gray threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball for the losing team. Binghamton reliever Luis Lucero picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Stan Martínez absorbed the loss. The losing skid has reached 8 games for Altoona.

In the bottom of the ninth, Amed Rosario knew he could end it with one good swing of the bat. And he did, hitting a 2-run single off Altoona pitcher Stan Martínez.
