Late Rally by Thunder Secures 4-2 Win
Behind an impressive start by Curt Watson, Trenton beat Richmond, 4-2. Trenton pitcher Jorge Nájera got the win, upping his record to 2-0. Manny Reyes got the loss. The win puts Trenton at 35-24 this season.

Trenton needed the clutch hitting of José Ruíz to seal the deal. The center fielder swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Thunder on top, 4-2. For the game, Ruíz had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Trenton manager Cody Decker was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.
