The 4-hit performance of R.J. Lester helped the Akron RubberDucks beat the Trenton Thunder, 12-2. Akron pitcher Jon Kline got the win. He's now 3-0. Brandon Finnegan was tagged with the loss. With the victory, the RubberDucks upped their record to 37-23.

Lester had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth to put Akron in front, 3-1. With the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly off Trenton pitcher Oscar Cameron.

"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Lester.
