Steward Dominates Harrisburg
|
Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Harrisburg Senators as starter Dave Steward shut them out, 1-0, at FirstEnergy Stadium. The Reading pitcher struck out 6 and walked 0 while allowing 3 hits.
"Steward was good but he wasn't flawless," Harrisburg manager Joe Mikulik said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Reading, but this is on us."
