Northeast Delta Dental Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and New Britain Rock Cats.

The New Britain Rock Cats had to overcome a fine effort from New Hampshire pitcher Chris Bryant to win, 3-1, at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. Bryant went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. Eric White picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Don Jones suffered the loss. Kel Clark notched his 16th save in 17 chances.

New Britain used the timely hitting of António Cháves to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rock Cats on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Cháves called the win a testament to his team's "tenacity."

The win puts New Britain at 37-28 this season.
