Lefty Wright Leads Portland to 5-0 Win
|
Portland Sea Dogs starter Ken Wright hurled his team past the Reading Fightin Phils, 5-0. Portland is now 31-36, Reading 34-33.
Wright kept the Fightin Phils under his thumb. He scattered 6 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 8. The left-hander upped his season record to 1-2.
"It's a mindset," said Wright. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
