Mud Hens Bridle Bats, 2-1
|
In a low-scoring contest between the Toledo Mud Hens and the Louisville Bats, Jon Dwight was the X factor. The Toledo left-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Early on, the Mud Hens, at 18-7, have played an impressive brand of baseball.
Ben Page had a direct impact on the outcome. Page contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Toledo up, 2-0.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Louisville manager Jose Leger.
