Richmond Flying Squirrels starter Pat Bryant found his groove in his team's 8-3 win over the Bowie Baysox. The Flying Squirrels, now 38-35, have won 4 in a row.

Raúl Orosco had a big 2-run double for the Flying Squirrels in the bottom of the first inning. With Richmond leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a curveball from 25-year old left-handed pitcher Brit Hargrove and swatted a double to right. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Flying Squirrels ahead, 3-0.

"Pat was pounding the zone," said Richmond manager Mike Sarbaugh.
