Good production from left fielder Wally Clark helped the Bowie Baysox topple the New Britain Rock Cats, 6-5. Clark went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles for the Baysox. Ken Cooper earned his 9th save in 12 chances. The third-place Baysox bumped their record to 40-44.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Clark delivered big-time for Bowie, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Ed Hall. The game-changing hit put the Baysox on top, 6-5.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Clark.
