Buffalo Draws Blanks Against Gilbert
Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Buffalo Bisons as starter Phil Gilbert shut them out, 4-0, at Coca-Cola Field. The Scranton WB pitcher struck out 7 and walked 2 while allowing 4 hits.

"Gilbert was good but he wasn't flawless," Buffalo manager Drew Saylor said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Scranton WB, but this is on us."

This year, Gilbert has compiled a 2-5 mark with a 3.56 ERA.
