Mets Rebuff Sea Dogs, 3-2

Thanks in large part to shortstop Amed Rosario, the Binghamton Mets beat the Portland Sea Dogs, 3-2. Rosario went 4 for 4 with 4 singles. Quincy Todd notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 3-3. Picking up the save was Dave Hall. He's now 8 for 9 in save chances.
With the game tied, 2-2, in the bottom of the seventh, Rosario had a key at-bat for Binghamton. With a runner on 3rd, Rosario hit a run-scoring single off António González, making the score 3-2, Mets.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Binghamton manager Chris Tremie.
The defeat makes Portland 43-48.
