Buffalo Pockets 3-2 Win Over Scranton WB
|
The Buffalo Bisons downed the Scranton WB RailRiders, 3-2, the largest share of the credit belonging to first baseman Jorge Rodríguez. On the day, Rodríguez went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Bisons. The loss drops the Scranton WB record to a disappointing 11-17.
Rodríguez had a timely hit for Buffalo in the bottom of the seventh. With Buffalo trailing 2-1, he turned a 1-2 changeup into a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season, making it 3-2, Buffalo.
"Both teams played hard," said Buffalo manager Drew Saylor.
