Rob Simard was a major contributor to the 9-8 Erie win over Harrisburg. The SeaWolves left fielder went 3-4 with a triple, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. Erie goes to 6-3 with the win.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Erie pinch hitter Jesús Mercado, facing Sean Wilson, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the SeaWolves the 9-8 win.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Mercado told the Erie Daily.
