Rock Cats Come Back Late to Top Flying Squirrels, 7-6
Raúl Flores impressed in the 7-6 New Britain win over Richmond. Flores was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. With the win, the Rock Cats hiked their record to 70-40.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With New Britain trailing 6-5, Flores jumped on a fastball from 22-year old left-handed pitcher Aurelio Soriano and hit a 2-run home run to left-center. With one swing, the Rock Cats had a walk-off win.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Gary Kendall.
