Mets Take Down Fisher Cats, 3-2
The Binghamton Mets earned a win at NYSEG Stadium, stopping the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 3-2. Starting pitcher Dave Mata played a big role in his team's success. Binghamton reliever Leo Hendricks picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Bo Ferguson took the loss. The Mets improved their record to 52-59 with the win over New Hampshire.

Binghamton took a 3-2 lead on Fernando Perez's 2nd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Perez hit in the bottom of the eighth, left New Hampshire pitcher Bo Ferguson visibly frustrated.

"The Mets earned it," said New Hampshire manager Mark Budzinski. "Hats off to them."
