Fans got some free baseball at NYSEG Stadium.

The Trenton Thunder knocked off the Binghamton Mets, 5-4, in Eastern League action at NYSEG Stadium. Trenton pitcher and Tullahoma, Tennessee, native Justus Sheffield had an outstanding performance. Trenton now sits at 66-57, while Binghamton falls to 59-64.

It could have been a different outcome for Trenton, had it not been for Tomás Borges, the 23-year old catcher . Borges contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the 13th inning to put Trenton up, 5-4.

"Justus was throwing free and easy," said Trenton manager Eric Owens.
