Fisher Cats Deny Curve, 3-2
|
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats picked up a win at People's Natural Gas Field, topping the Altoona Curve, 3-2. On the mound for New Hampshire was right-hander Raúl Sánchez. He played a principal role in the triumph. Randall Colwill converted his 3rd save in 4 tries. The Fisher Cats bumped their record to 71-55 with this latest triumph.
It could have been a different outcome for New Hampshire, had it not been for Hugo Perales, the 23-year old center fielder . Perales contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put New Hampshire up, 3-2.
"We're one win closer to our goal," Perales said in postgame remarks.
