Harrisburg Sent Home with 5-4 Loss
Despite a great performance by Harrisburg first baseman Víctor Germán, the Altoona Curve defeated the Senators by the score of 5-4 at People's Natural Gas Field. Germán was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Altoona reliever Angelo Tanguy picked up the win to move to 3-0. Steve Strouse suffered the loss. The loss makes Harrisburg 43-84.

Darren Wood was 1 for 3 for Altoona. The 21-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Steve Strouse. It was his 13th RBI of the season.
