Bowie registered a win at FirstEnergy Stadium by beating the Reading Fightin Phils, 6-4. Pitcher Eric Barr was one reason why the Baysox triumphed. P.J. Jackson notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now sits at 6-6. With the win over Reading, the Baysox improved to 55-78.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Scot Smith? The 27-year old third baseman Smith stroked a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to put Bowie up, 6-4. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.
