Fightin Phils Lose By a Run at Harrisburg
|
Harrisburg Senators starter Ken Adams was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Reading Fightin Phils, 3-2. Michal Bauerewski got the save, his 1st in 4 chances. The Senators raised their record to 52-82.
Center Fielder Ron White made an impact for Harrisburg, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Dave Blackburn in the bottom of the fifth. For the contest, White went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.
"I was able to fill up the zone," said Adams.
